Maria Regina Festa
The most awaited time of the year in every town and village in Malta is the week in which that particular place will be celebrating the feast of it's patron Saint. This saint will be the one to which the parish church will be dedicated. The feast will consist of religious celebrations inside the parish church, which will be decorated for the occassion, and external activites which will consist of programmes and marches by the band of that particular village. For this annual occassion the streets will also be decorated alot and in the night there will be a fireworks display. |

My Maltese writing is not that crash hot so I at times come back in english but all I can say about this Bar is that it's very friendly and the prices of Liquer are cheap and appetisers are served with drinks if your in a group.

It a tradition that our local boys chase our Kappillan to join the fun as an appreciation for the work and commitments Patri Diego Theuma puts during the 12 months he is best describe as a little beaver never in the one spot for longer then 5 minutes you can also describe him as a Bulldozer because he gets things done. |

Again as picture indicate with the locals lifting committee members shoulder high and join the many friends in celebrating our festa with all the hard work put by these fine man , I have a comment for those that at times they criticise next year put your Ideas at work and join a club you might get along with some but make your good Ideas work to benefit our Locals. |
The Marc late Stages
The good part of a community of Marsa is that we have fun everyone lets their hair down and have a few drinks but unfortunately you feel the effects when your walking back home you can hardly walk then your Mum or your Wife says Dinner will be served and at that time the only attractive thing you see is your Bed for two hours then wake up and get ready for the final procession where things are more calmer and the evening breeze helps you recover the intake of alcohol then as usual the Xalata takes place but for me the last two occasions I was in Malta I departed to come back to Australia what a Xalata. |

This Guy Is A Showman
You dont have to be a great musician to be a showman not that this guy is not but he is a total showpiece I spotted him in another festa he was performing at and with no hesitation this guy stands out the rest .
Let this me your motivation to learn an instrument and be part of a band as a young person I was nuisance and noisily with an instrument its a good excuse to make a racket of noises and most people put up with it because you can say you are studying.

The Future Of Marsa
These Children are the backbone of Marsa we need to keep as many where they belong Marsa it was very pleasing to find while I was in Malta that we Marsin now dont have to travel to you know where to do some shopping because they dont deserve to get a mention as Marsin keep your Money amongst us and keep our shopkeepers happy as a results our Town will be the better for these Children. |

Sad Times Marc Is Over
In my young days I use to find it hard to wait 12 months for the Festa to come along and I use to count the months but my indicator was because we use to celebrate Holy Trinity and that use to fall during may at times early June and the weather is fining up I knew it was festa time and the picture tells the story here how is this mother explains that the Festa is about over. |
Isuard Street During Festa
This is a beautiful sight with all the Red Blue colours the envy of many in the Island we might not have the numbers of some festi but we sure know how to enjoy ourself the children are safe from infighting amongst the crowds and All I say is if you have any Idea of anyone attempting to disrupt our festa report them to your nearest Committee member they will take steps to put things in order. |

Bunch Of Fine Guys Of Various Committees
I had the pleasure to meet most of these gentlemen while I was in Malta on vacations they made me and my son very welcome as a result this page is a payback for the love of out Town Marsa people like me overseas know how its like to be away from your roots and during the Festive days and while Marsa take part in any sporting fixtures we the departed once always waiting for results on the radio and Internet.
